Luo XiaoLou was shocked, and that night prepared to act like Sherlock Holmes to figure out who Bless was. 125 was there to help him at least. After detailed analysis, Luo XiaoLou felt that the most likely choices were Mu Chen and Luo ShaoTian.

Bless’s character, with the silence and a kind of pride from the bones, pointed to Mu Chen and Luo ShaoTian whose characters were a little similar. Of course, in Luo XiaoLou’s heart, Mu Chen was more likely. He couldn’t imagine that the arrogant and stubborn Luo ShaoTian would go to learn mecha manufacturing himself.

However, there were a few possibilities since Luo ShaoTian didn’t choose a mecha maker.

The thought of the arrogant Luo ShaoTian secretly learning mecha making made Luo XiaoLou feel awkward and happy. He even reminded himself of a drama about a noble young master, whose parents disapproved of his son’s hobbies and did not support him.

Of course, if Bless hadn’t said this to him in the end, maybe he would have guessed that it was Yang Ke. But in reality, Yang Ke would have said it to him immediately.

125, on the other hand, swore that it was more likely to be either Yuan Xi or Ling Xu, and Luo XiaoLou nearly jumped up when he heard this argument.

That night, although he thought 125 – if an AI counted – to be unreliable, he was prepared to watch Yuan Xi’s every move carefully.

Later that night, Yuan Xi tossed the bright-eyed green Tyrannosaurus rex, who had snuck up onto the master bedroom bed and attempted to sleep with Luo XiaoLou, into the crib with his tail in tow. It had been an hour! He’d come back from the Internet, and the two heads were whispering to each other about what’s going on!

Then, while Yuan Xi was pulling Luo XiaoLou this way and that, he noticed that Luo XiaoLou, who always blushed because of his posture and was almost afraid to look at him, was actually watching him quietly.

Yuan Xi was surprised to see Luo XiaoLou do this, his heart was moved, and was about to praise the little slave with a few words and ask for more benefits in the future when Luo XiaoLou suddenly asked, “What do you… um… think about mecha makers? Do you think Master Yan is suitable for me…?”

Yuan Xi instantly paled, his dark eyes filled with displeasure, and he said in annoyance, “I told you, it’s not a problem who you worship as your master, even if you’re no longer useless and no one wants you, haven’t I already reluctantly accepted you?” After saying that, Yuan Xi pulled Luo XiaoLou up and rudely kissed Luo XiaoLou, silencing him.

As Luo XiaoLou struggled to open his mouth again, Yuan Xi’s hand suddenly rubbed Luo XiaoLou’s chest, and he began moving more vigorously, then asked viciously as he thrust deeply, “Instead of discussing those useless things, why don’t you tell me what I’m doing?”

Luo XiaoLou was completely stupid. Big brother, you read too much! Asking this kind of – this kind of question is too hard to answer!

Finding that Luo XiaoLou hadn’t answered, Yuan Xi pushed him and urged, “Speak.”

“Um…ah…I don’t…” Luo XiaoLou blushed bright red and simply hugged Yuan Xi, burying his head in his chest.

Yuan Xi narrowed his eyes and thrust even more violently. The effect was obvious as well, the next thing they knew, Luo XiaoLou was moaning, letting him have his way, and letting him say and do whatever he wanted, with no energy to distract him from thinking about anything else.

When he woke up the next day, Luo XiaoLou sadly reflected on yesterday’s mistake, deciding that Yuan Xi couldn’t be Bless…

However, that afternoon after school, Luo XiaoLou realized that the heavens had been kind to him.

While Yuan Xi drove to Star River Mall as Luo XiaoLou requested, he said, “I signed up for the mecha competition, so starting tomorrow, I will go to the mecha club to practice, and I will not be back until about 7:30 every day, when I come back for dinner.”

Luo XiaoLou was stunned, then couldn’t control his dropped mouth, “The mecha contest? 7:30? Really, that’s – hard work.” Luo XiaoLou swallowed the words ‘too good to be true’ and coughed at the same time, trying to change his tone of surprise into one of encouragement and concern. Being too arrogant would most likely cause Yuan Xi to blow up.

Yuan Xi glanced at him, not paying him any attention.

Luo XiaoLou was seriously guilty, suspecting that Yuan Xi had read his mind – So much less time for this man to ‘practice’ – and decided to make up for it by asking, “So, when does the mecha competition start?”

“Six months. The qualifiers are in the summer.” Yuan Xi looked at Luo XiaoLou again and finally managed to say, “I’ll bring you with me when I compete, and you better have that self-awareness that you’re my mecha maker.”

“…Of course, how could I forget?” Luo XiaoLou’s excited tone dropped several degrees in an instant.

The video game immersed 125 was sitting in the back seat of the hover car, and he suddenly raised his head and looked at the two masters with wide eyes, tapping the back of Luo XiaoLou’s seat with his tail, “I’m going too.”

“Yes, I promise I’ll take you.” Luo XiaoLou said, while consoling himself with the thought that he’d just watch the mecha competition for free.

That night, after the big meal, a tail-chewing 125 followed Luo XiaoLou to the lab. After seeing that Yuan Xi didn’t follow, it bowed its head and felt in its t-shirt pocket before pulling out a letter and handing it to Luo XiaoLou.

“Sent to me?” Luo XiaoLou said in confusion, then opened the envelope. Inside was a sealed microchip, and on the outside flap was a line: invitation to the mecha contest, addressee – 521.

“521? What’s going on here? Don’t tell me the mecha contest would mail you something like that. Besides, it’s not your name. Are they being funny?” Luo XiaoLou looked incredulously at the letter.

“Of course they wouldn’t invite me. In fact, it was mailed to you. I signed you up for the mecha competition anonymously.” 125, who was standing on the lab table, hung his head low and stepped on his left foot and then right foot, sneaked a glance at Luo XiaoLou and said, “I even used a pseudonym so as not to reveal your identity. Isn’t that a nice name?”

Luo XiaoLou turned blue and gritted his teeth as he said, “I don’t think it’s at all nice to turn your name backwards. And I didn’t say I was planning to participate in this mecha competition.”

Tossing the invitation aside, Luo XiaoLou took out the material microchip and prepared to continue studying.

125 glared in discontent and yelled, “Hey, the numbers 125, all of them are great, okay! You can’t denigrate my name just because you’re angry. Besides, there’s nothing to be angry about. You know I’m doing it for your own good.”

“I know I need to improve my ability to operate the mecha, after all, I have to save your master. But you’re actually signing me up for the mecha tournament now so that the other contestants can find a presence, right? Do you think it’s glorious that I went up there and got brushed off?” Luo XiaoLou perfunctorily said, “Well, I’m going to get busy, so you can go play on the side.”

“So you’re feeling inferior. Don’t worry.” Clasping his hands in front of his chest, 125’s eyes twinkled, and with a gesture like ‘I understand your pain,’ he said, “I’ve already thought it all out! So, I also signed you up for a mecha club. The best mecha club in all of the Federation, the Radiance Club. For the entire second half of the year, you’ll be able to practice at Planet Anse’s branch.”

“I’m really not so sure about – wait – the Radiance Club?” Luo XiaoLou frowned, if he remembered correctly, this was the club that Yuan Xi joined.

“You don’t have to worry about running into Yuan Xi, I’ve already inquired about it. In the Radiance Club, mecha warriors will train in the beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions according to their individual levels and abilities, I don’t think you and Yuan Xi will run into each other. No need to thank me too much.” 125 said proudly.

Luo XiaoLou stared at 125 who was holding his head high for praise, and he suddenly felt a bad feeling. Putting down the information in his hand, Luo XiaoLou calmly asked, “So, how much did it cost you to sign me up for the best mecha club in all of the Federation? “

125 slowly moved its chubby body back a step and said as quietly as possible, “It’s not much. You know, a place like Club Mecha costs a lot of money, but it’s definitely worth it. It can bring you things that money can’t buy, such as rapid improvement of your abilities and so on…” the last few sentences sounded like an advertisement.

Luo XiaoLou took a deep breath, immediately lifted his wrist to check his account balance, and then Luo XiaoLou opened his mouth wide and almost ran away. Luo XiaoLou dragged 125 over and yelled toward his communicator, “Explain to me why I only have five thousand in my account! Don’t tell me it takes $53 million to join the club!”

125 struggled hard, “Take it easy, will you? Or at least let go first! It takes 200 million Federation coins to apply for the Radiance Club’s Gold membership, 100 million for the Silver membership, and only the regular card is 50 million. I was going to apply for a Gold membership for you – hey – it would be nice if you had more money.”

Luo XiaoLou took another deep breath, telling himself that it was unwise to fight too much with an AI, before yelling, “Give me an immediate refund! Even if it’s training, I can sign up for a medium club somewhere else!” He hadn’t been big enough to throw money at it, okay? It was different from buying materials, at least materials he could see in real life.

He now understood a bit about parents who beat up their kids, the point being that the destructive power of those disobedient kids was nowhere near as bad as 125. It was just so defeating. The point was that he couldn’t yet do anything with an AI that could easily hack into his communicator and virtual network, and was happy to use his account.

“But – but – the club is non-refundable.” 125 stammered as he held his arm.

Luo XiaoLou closed his eyes and controlled the urge to hit him.  He knew 125 was anxious to improve his abilities, it had waited too long on its own. Never mind, he’d just pretend he’d signed up for the mecha competition, this must be God’s punishment for his secret morning gloating about Yuan Xi being gone…

Luo XiaoLou put the microchip away and turned to walk out.

“I confessed to you, you can punish me. Will you- will you go?” 125 shouted shakily at his back.

“I’ll go to the mecha tournament and I’ll go to the club, but if you ever touch my account again without talking to me first, I’ll never make another energy box for you, I promise you that.” Luo XiaoLou said without looking back.

“…I promise.” Came a weak voice from behind.

Luo XiaoLou went straight back to his bedroom. He needed to re-formulate his plans for the next six months, since he had already signed up for the mecha club and spent so much money to participate in the mecha competition, he needed to prepare well for it.

Although the thought of his new account balance still hurt a bit, the good news was that making money to support his family wasn’t a problem right now, and it was only when the money was spent that he could make more back.

From another perspective, participating in the mecha competition was really exciting. He heard that as long as one entered the top fifty, they would be rewarded.

The author has something to say:

This chapter is rather short, and in guilt, I’m considering speeding up the story in the next chapter.

Poor LXL, he was abused, mentally, physically ( he might secretly doesn’t mind this one) and being hacked on his account. Nevermind, all from the love they gave him. The author has hidden the plot very well, I still couldn’t guess who is Bless.

Bless has to be Mu Chen! He is more mysterious and soft-spoken than Luo Shaotian.

125 is baby. A demon baby.

Length isnt as important as content and this was still a good chapter 😊
LXL thinks sane as me re. Bless! I’m usually wrong ☺ Let’s see what Sherlock finds out.
125, you really take risks! Hopefully it will pay off.
Will YX again be angry at not being consulted though? More bedroom punishments?
Thanks for translating.
