  1. Of course I have! I love My Junior Still Hasn’t Killed Me by Zi Lu and Lifetime Gift by Matthia. I like Ghost Mending The Way too, also by Matthia. I’ve read some of Mathhia’s novels. And yes, there are good and quite unique. I haven’t read Bounty Hunter, but going to read it now! Since it’s your favorite, it’s must be good. 😊

  2. “Picked up a Strange Knight” is one of my all time favorites. It’s only 20 chapters long and it’s this cute little bubble of a reverse Isekai.
Fantasy knight is found unconscious in front of a normal japanese salary worker’s door.

No OP world shaking. No CEO face slapping. No dog blood drama. just fluff as the knight adapts to our world and slowly falls in love.

And not only do you really feel the love, but the smutty bit isn’t too bad either. Pure romance.

  3. Most of the stories I’ve read that are under 40 chapters are extremely dark. Full of angst and heartache. So I’ll have to take everyone else’s suggestions here to read the Matthia ones.

  4. I’ve read some stuff by this author too, Pink Robed Mage, Bounty Hunter , Cold Sub Species, Me and My Knight , A Day in the Life of the former Prisoner of War and His Interrogator. But what I liked the most were the same ones that Addis mentioned above.

  5. I like To Kill a Unicorn, one of Matthia’s novels. Very ironic. Also He’ Not My Shadow Guard. Both of these stories did not end the way I expected. I’ve not read the two Addis suggested, I’ll give the a go

  6. my favourites aren’t short stories… but if I had to choose amongst the short stories what I really like, it’s a novel called Yeho, I just like the atmosphere of it
