Are there any stories you read that got dropped mid-translation and it still makes crazy?
Addis’ Answer: There was but it was the main reason why I stopped starting novels unless they were 100% translated or had the raws easily available to get to finish it myself.

I have read English language novels where the writer has suddenly abandoned the story, regardless of whether there are plenty following it. That has annoyed me hugely. It’s very unfair to loyal readers.
I trust EXRs, so honestly never consider that!
yes, and not only because it’s in mid-translations, but it got licensed and i haven’t read it full. so no hope for other groups to pick it up later😢😅
after i installed NU app, i’ll just add the story to my reading list and wait for it to be finished first before i read it.
There were a few I was reading that didn’t get dropped mid-translation but they were put behind a paywall & each chapter had to be paid for individually. It was very frustrating & eventually I quit those novels.
There were sadly. One was Interstellar Power Couple, lantern: reflection of peach blossoms, I have been pregnant for 10 years without giving birth any many more. I’ll be very happy if you could continue these(my earnest wishes)
None that were dropped but some that are still mid translation. It is so frustrating to wait for a week or month between chapters and you forget what was happening so now I check if there is completed translation before I start. There are lots of Manhua I’ve started that were dropped and with those you really have no idea what happened or if they will ever start again!
I’m the same as Adis, but once in a while I fall prey of an ongoing manga and it gets drop and is the worst, for example, Katsubou – Anima Gemela. That is why I appreciate so much groups like the end and well any group that picks up dropped mangas.
yes. and it drives me crazier when i saw those novels into manhua.
I try to find novels that have been completed already but when it comes to manga, oh it drives me insane haha

There are a lot, they are either dropped, or the translation is super slow (haven’t heard from them for months), got a paid wall… That’s why I always appreciate ExR’s working ethos so much, I know I can always count on you.
