What is your ideal gong (seme, attacker, top, 1)?
Addis’ Answer: I love for gong’s to be absolutely in love with their counterparts and do anything for them to make them happy. They should be caring, kind, and understanding, like the MC in Home of the Zerg. He’s the almost perfect gong.
That Home of the Zerg gong is one of the best (really like the book by the way).
I’m with Addis in this one, love the ones that pamper, are caring and do what they can to make their counterparts happy.
My ideal gong would be a person who will understand their partner, never force them and respect them. I have loved the gong of Loser wife’s second life. He was a nice person, apathetic towards enemies and loving towards his partner.

Fierce, loving and territorial, but willing to back down if their lover calls for it.
I don’t like them too perfect though. A little personality is nice. A hobby and friends outside of the MC. Likes and dislikes that clash with the MC or even drives him a bit insane. You know, like a real person in a real relationship.
In general, not thinking of the genre, always always!! puppy-type seme! (not the one that turns from innocent to a hungry wolf)—just straight up pure and innocent! I also like semes who are weak for their ukes~ even if they’re obviously not right in the head haha!
but I think everyone agrees that a seme who communicates and respects his uke’s boundaries is the best type of seme~
From a comedic aspect, I like sarcasm and the leg pulling (often perceived as bullying) of some gongs, which their partners often deal with begrudgingly, but usually get one back at some point.
I also love those that protect, want to pamper and care for their partner, but who also respect them and don’t treat them like they’re dumb. That doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be the odd sparks flying and wit, though. No one’s perfect! TVODATVC pair are great, amongst quite a few others.
i really like the gong of “im a chef in modern era”. A little devoted to his wifey, a little tsundere… He was very cute.
I want an seme, who protects his partner, who respects him and loves him with all his heart. Someone who lets his partner do whatever he wants.
Again, I am with Addis, the gentle, pamper with sense of humor, understanding and protective. The prince charming 😆😆😆.
