What is your ideal shou (uke, receiver, bottom, 0)?
Addis’ Answer: I think the ideal shou for me would be an MC like in I Really am an Ordinary Person, where they will stand up for themselves and do what they want with their lives without every decision being dependent on their counterpart.
an uke who doesn’t mind leaning on his seme~ maybe not full on incapable of doing anything himself but someone that although he can stand on his own, chooses to stand with his seme… an uke who is strong but has a weakness feels more real that way

Ones who don’t actually need the seme. They can get themselves in and out of trouble just fine. Heck, sometimes it’s them getting everyone else out of trouble. They just appreciate not having to every once in a while when their partner is around.
I like someone independent, who doesn’t mind being taken care of, but isn’t dependant on it. Who handles a strong willed Seme with ease.

For me it’s someone who chooses to be, or falls in love to be a shou. I’ve got understand that being a “fugoshi” and reading danmei is a rose colored outlook the real gay romance and love. So I have to overlook the stereotypes and get pleasantly surprised when a character actually can seem real.
