For a lot of characters I do feel that to some degree, but the first time I ever found my maternal instincts going into full overdrive was with Uncontrolled Love’s Shu Nian. I wanted to pluck him out the story and hide him in my womb, I don’t know how else to explain it.
No. There have been characters I’ve really liked though and felt quite, kind of, invested in.

Not really from the book. The recently one that I like is Xie Sen from the Plant Tamer but still not up to the point as my own child. But for the real person who played the character from the book I do have one.
