“Station number two is urgently calling for Marshal Heinz! Please reply! Marshal! Marshal, please reply when you’ve received this!” The operator wearing glasses was anxious. She held the microphone in front of her tightly and the clothes on her back were already soaked with sweat. Looking ahead, almost everyone in the room with her was in such a state.

The atmosphere in the room was so tense that – fearing that they might miss even a little information – everyone focused intently and stared at the ultra-high-frequency characters that ran across the screens in front of them.

Suddenly, a surprised voice sounded, “Report! A-1 has detected a signal emission from the Pisaka area. From the frequency… It… it might be the Marshal’s mech!”

As soon as this sentence came out, the atmosphere of the space station reached its zenith and all the operators were moving faster and faster. One by one, they were eager to mobilize all the detectors and turn Pisaka upside down as fast as possible.

And three steps behind them, in the center of the room, stood first-class General Abraham. His face was wrinkled but he still had a pair of hawk-like eyes, with a medal on his chest representing his supreme merit and he immediately ordered, “Keep looking!”

“Yes!”

The characters and the messages flashed across the screen in the small room. Two minutes later, a voice exclaimed, “General! We received a signal from the Fire Beacon!”

The owner of the voice sounded very excited, everyone knew that the Fire Beacon was the name of Marshal Heinz’s personal mech!

Looking at the message conveyed through the light screen, the clerk could not help staring at the text in front of him, trembling as he reported, “The mech can still transmit messages! This means he is still alive!”

All S class and above mechs were equipped with master recognizing equipment and they would only recognize their masters, never accepting orders from anyone else. Besides, Fire Beacon, a super aircraft mech, could not be tamed by normal people. If it could still operate, it meant that Marshal Heinz would certainly be alive! It was even possible that he was conscious!

Just as everyone was excited about the news they had been waiting for so long, the voice echoed again. “General! The message that arrived was deciphered! Fire Beacon, the chassis of Fire Beacon has been completely destroyed!” The operator looked anxious, staring at the screen. “The results have been synchronized. If his spirit is still connected, then, with how big Fire Beacon is, the most optimistic situation would be… At least, more than three Class A Hunters could be brought back.”

With these words, the whole space station fell silent.

Pisaka was the region’s famous “evanescent zone”; everything from the weather to the geology to the wildlife was unpredictable.

The sky would be clear one moment and then the next it would be covered in raining meteorites.

They couldn’t guarantee the Marshal’s ability to cut off and then reconnect with the Fire Beacon. If the Fire Beacon couldn’t take the initiative, even if it was a well-equipped mech with a well-trained hunter who was prepared to go in, it couldn’t be brought back alone… Since the disaster caused by the contract of the Omega Marginal Universe, after defeating the Gars, at last, all the Allied forces were retreating and there was not enough equipment to supply anything at all. Those who remained for the final rescue of the generals, combined, did not have the ability to go to the Pisaka area.

Assuming that the Marshal himself could control the Fire Beacon to the edge of Pisaka, they could also find a way to deal with the issue, even the Fire Beacon whose barrier had been destroyed… It was just like a huge package and would be impossible to bring it out without adequate preparation.

“This…” The operator’s eyes widened and it was hard to believe that the result of their tense work, which lasted for almost an hour, would be like this.

A group of people looked at each other, relatively silent. Most of them were only office workers and they couldn’t go to places like Pisaka, regardless of their wishes.

Marshal Heinz’s people suffered tremendous trauma in the last world war. Although all that could be left was abandoned, they were waiting outside the door for an update on the Marshal. They would certainly leave when they heard the news, but… even if they were not hurt, it may not be safe for them to go to Pisaka, let alone injured.

It was impossible for top military officers to send such a group of potentially infinite but seriously wounded soldiers to Pisaka… Considering this, several researchers couldn’t help turning their eyes to General Abraham, who hadn’t spoken since they heard the news.

“How many reserve mechs are there?” Asked Abraham with a deep look.

One of the clerks was stunned and answered in a low voice, “…There are five A-class mechs, all of which have the form armor. If they go to rescue…”

But instead of listening to his report, Abraham interrupted him, “What about S class?”

The clerk’s eyes widened and his mind seemed to have some desire to ask questions, but the disparity in status and the deterrent power of Abraham still made him choose to answer subconsciously, “S… S class… There is Dr. Changhong’s mech in the warehouse, which is temporarily not able to move. But it is a mech that does not recognize any owner. We… we do not have the mental strength to complete the connection and drive Changhong’s soldiers…”

The more the junior clerk talked, the less he spoke in complete sentences.

This war lasted for five years and if it had not been for Marshal Heinz, they would not have seen the end of the war.

In the end, the soldiers of the First World War Alliance fought hard to defeat the Gars and one could imagine how fierce the battlefield was. Just because of this, Dr. Changhong put the newly completed Rainbow mech into the storage warehouse, which was originally a standby mech that had to be stopped for fear of failure. Although it was a standby mech, its power did not lag behind the original at all. It was almost tailored for Heinz’s abnormal spiritual strength.

If it was the Rainbow, it was perfectly possible to rescue Marshal Heinz and the Fire Beacon from the Pisaka area with experienced and excellent operators, but… But none of them could complete the connection with the Rainbow. In order to achieve this, normal people must cut off their original mech connection for more energy, but this was nothing compared to Rainbow. They must also have super-high concentration and spirit in order to do so.

Now the Heinz forces outside the control room were struggling to save their Marshal. Even in their heyday, they may not be able to control the Rainbow. General Abraham wanted to know what this meant.

“Let’s get ready. I’ll go.” The crutch in Abraham’s hand moved and as he spoke, he turned around. The sound of the heavy crutch in his hand hit the heart of every crew member in the station.

There seemed to be a pause in the room for a second, after which they seemed to understand and rushed forward one after another.

“General! General, think about it a little more! The Rainbow’s spiritual connection is very strong! If it fails, it’s likely to have a direct impact on–”

On the brain…

Dr. Changhong said that in order to make up for the Marshal’s deficiencies in mental control, the level of connection was directly raised to the highest, which was unprecedentedly strong. Normal mechs could not succeed with the link. The impact was not necessarily large, the most serious thing that could happen would be that they would be uncomfortable for several days. But once the Rainbow’s connection failed, it would directly stimulate the brain. No one knows what would happen at that time.

They had lost too much in this battle to allow General Abraham to take the risk at this juncture.

Even if he had an SS spiritual level, he was too old to have strong control over his energy like he did at his peak. To go at this time…

Heinz’s people outside the control room, who had been ordered by Abraham to be barred from entering, seemed to have heard the movement inside and rushed in with all their enthusiasm, hoping to ask the general of the news. The entire control room became a mess when they rushed in.

Just then, a machine in the room suddenly gave out a sharp alarm, which was extremely abrupt in the chaotic room. The next second, a voice yelled, “General! The Rainbow’s system is up!”

“Somebody… somebody finished the connection! The Rainbow is being controlled! “

“It is completely out of our control! It is probably not one of our personnel!”

Over the sound, the control room gradually quieted down and everyone looked at the machine that started to work and the operator sitting in front of it almost breathlessly reported the news.

They had completed the Rainbow’s… connection?

Someone was listening in on the control room and got the news? Was it to drive away their last hope?

Impossible! Who could successfully complete the connection in such a short time?

Looking at the silver track of the Rainbow on the screen, everyone in the room opened their eyes wide.

The Rainbow was Marshal Heinz’ tailor-made mech armor. If someone could really drive it, wasn’t this…

Before they had time to sort out the chaotic information in their frightened brains, they heard the stiff voice of the clerk continually reporting, “The Rainbow is on its way to the Pisaka area.”

The summary was good! I’m nervous to find out what is going on there in that planet!?? Every clerk seems to be nervous! I was trying to figure out how the Mech works with spiritual power, but I wonder who got in the Rainbow which wasn’t easy to get into?! Seems like it will be a good read! Thank you! ❤️❤️
