Fei Zheng was on top of him, panting heavily.

Nan HuaiLin was pressed down by him and could not breathe well, but didn’t dare to ask him to get down, so he could only stand still.

When the panting subsided, Fei Zheng whispered in his ear, “Come back to my dream tomorrow night, okay?”

He thought… it was all just a dream?

Nan HuaiLin was confused, as if there were a hundred little people arguing in his mind. His head was about to explode.

But he had to make a quick decision. Stay, or leave.

If he were to stay, when Fei Zheng woke up, he’d get what he wanted. The opportunity to turn his life around.

If he were to leave, then it would all stay in the dream, as if nothing had happened, and he would continue to struggle hard.

Fei Zheng’s breathing soon became even and long. He should have fallen asleep.

“Mr. Fei?” Nan HuaiLin asked in a tentative whisper.

No answer.

Leave. Nan HuaiLin made an immediate decision. He couldn’t do it after all, using this in exchange for opportunities. In that case, what would be the difference between him and Shi Yan?

Nan HuaiLin wrapped his arms around Fei Zheng’s waist, and used all the strength he had left to roll over, reversing the position of the two people.

Nan HuaiLin paused for a moment to regain his blurred vision. Then through the faint light, he found his own clothes and pants, held them in his arms and tiptoed out of the bedroom, gently closing the door.

He quickly dressed, then touched his pocket and found his phone was still there.

Nan HuaiLin ran away as if he were being chased.

It was still raining.

He had no umbrella, so he had to get wet.

The cold, icy rain slapped his face randomly, freezing him until he was shivering. He wanted to take a taxi, but could not afford the expensive fare, so he walked quickly to the subway station. Luckily, the subway hadn’t stopped running yet.

When he got on the train, he stood in front of the opposite door soaking wet, like a chicken. The glass reflected his wretched appearance.

Nan HuaiLin pulled up the corner of his mouth and smiled to himself.

He was ugly.

When he arrived home, he took off his wet clothes, took a hot shower, and went straight to bed without bothering to eat. No matter how bad the situation was, when the body was tired to a certain extent, it was always easy to fall asleep.

Nan HuaiLin was most satisfied with himself regarding this point.

Fei Cheng was sleeping soundly when the blanket was suddenly lifted.

He hated being disturbed while he was sleeping and cursed before he opened his eyes, “Fuck! I’m fucking…”

Suddenly, he stopped.

He saw a poker face that was colder than the Antarctic glacier.

“Brother, you’re back.” Fei Cheng instantly changed from a big wolf with fangs and claws, to a meek and docile little sheep, silently pulling back the quilt and smiling. “Why didn’t you say anything when you came back, so I could pick you up at the airport?”

Fei Zheng looked at him expressionlessly. “Who allowed you to sleep in my bed? And sleep naked? What’s wrong with you?”

Fei Cheng lifted the blanket and took a look.

Shit, he was really naked.

“No, I didn’t…” he explained vaguely. “I was drunk yesterday, so…I don’t usually sleep naked, really.”

“Drinking with who?” Fei Zheng asked.

“Shen Chong,” Fei Cheng answered honestly.

Shen Chong finished filming yesterday. A few actors in the crew formed a group, then he called Fei Cheng over.

Everyone was feeling particularly playful. Fei Cheng was inattentive and drank too much, so he did not even know how he arrived at his brother’s place.

“Looks like he’s too idle.” Fei Zheng turned around and walked out, “You have ten minutes to wash up and come out.”

“What for?” Fei Cheng asked, sitting up.

“Come with me to the office.”

“I’m not going!” Fei Cheng yelled.

Fei Zheng turned around and looked over.

Fei Cheng’s anger instantly dropped and he said feebly, “My face isn’t healed yet.”

“You have ten minutes. Don’t make me say it a third time.” With these words, Fei Zheng went out.

Fei Cheng grunted a curse, lifted the blanket and got out of bed, heading for the bathroom.

When he was taking a shower, he remembered the dream he had last night. It was not a big deal to have two wet dreams in a row, but it was a bit interesting that the protagonist of the two wet dreams were the same person. It was just a glance at the buttocks, and although those buttocks were indeed white, round and beautiful, but not so much as to keep thinking about it, right? It was also a bit too unproductive.

Did he really want to hook up?

But that was Shen Chong’s prey.

Forget it.

Suddenly it occurred to him. Since he slept naked last night, wouldn’t he have shot all over the bed?

To let Fei Zheng, that cleanliness monster, find out would be bad. He must hurry to destroy the evidence.

Fei Cheng moved quickly. He only took five minutes to shower, even brushed his teeth, then wrapped a bath towel around his waist and came out. He lifted the covers and saw that there was indeed a dried white spot on the sheets. He was about to remove the sheets when he suddenly heard Fei Zheng say, “Hurry up and get dressed.”

Fei Cheng hurriedly put the blanket down and said with a smile. “Brother, my clothes are in the hotel, you lend me some.”

Fei Zheng said, “Go to the closet and pick them out yourself.”

Fei Zheng was already dressed in a suit, tall and handsome, but all over his body there was a natural cold and intimidating power. Even to his own brother, he displayed a cold face without any expression.

The only thing Fei Cheng was afraid of in this world was his brother Fei Zheng, who had never been soft hearted and beat him since he was a child. In order to overthrow his brother’s tyrannical dictatorship, Fei Cheng practiced various fighting techniques, but the road was high and the devil was higher. After being crushed dozens of times, Fei Cheng finally succumbed to his brother and decided to be a good boy. But after a few years of breathing the free air in America, Fei Cheng wanted to return to his wild nature again, and the false persona of a good boy was trending towards collapse.

Fei Cheng changed his clothes neatly and came out.

Fei Zheng swept him a glance, but did not speak.

The little carrot head, which originally only reached his chest, was now as tall as he was, and dressed in his clothes, had already taken on the appearance of an adult.

“How’s that?” Fei Cheng posed. “Handsome, right?”

Fei Zheng gave him a look, that meant go see for himself and walked outside.

“Brother,” Fei Cheng followed obediently. “I want to discuss something with you.”

“There is no discussion.” Fei Zheng didn’t even listen to it, he directly rejected it.

Fei Cheng tsked twice, “Look at you, I haven’t said anything, yet you rush to say no, ah.”

Fei Zheng gave him a sidelong glance. “From today onwards, you are the director of Ming Xi’s artists. You have to do it even if you don’t want to do it.”

Fei Cheng stood still. “I don’t want to go to work at Ming Xi!”

Fei Zheng stopped and looked at him. “Then what do you want to do?”

Fei Cheng choked for a long time. “…Haven’t thought about it yet.”

Fei Zheng stepped forward. “Then don’t talk nonsense.”

Fei Cheng swung his fist at the air a few times, hating his guts.

Nan HuaiLin sat on the subway and just felt a headache.

After the rain shower, he very unfortunately had a fever. Following breakfast, he went to the small clinic next to his home to get a fever shot, but even now, his butt was a little sore. He arrived at Fei Zheng’s house in a daze and went to work.

He started with the bedroom.

The clothes were thrown all over the floor and the bed was in disarray.

He couldn’t help but think of last night’s tussle, and his already feverish face burned even more.

Nan HuaiLin took off all the bed sheets and covers and sent them to the dry cleaners in the neighborhood along with the clothes to be washed. Then he came back and hand washed the underwear first – it was the first time he washed underwear for a man other than Shi Yan, which felt weird. He also had a one-night stand with this man, which felt even weirder. He finished washing and drying, and then he started cleaning.

Hannibal was particularly clingy. Wherever he went, he would follow, Nan HuaiLin suspected that he wanted to play, but was reluctant to drive him away, afraid to hurt his fragile little soul. Sometimes animals had more delicate feelings than humans and were easily hurt.

The morning passed quickly under his non-stop busy schedule.

He went out for lunch and forced himself to eat even though he had no appetite. When he came back, he was so dizzy that even if he walked straight, he swayed, and when he felt his forehead, the fever seemed to get worse.

He wanted to lie in bed and sleep, but he couldn’t. His work wasn’t done yet, and today was the first day back for Mr. Fei, so he had to perform well.

Nan HuaiLin pulled himself together and continued the unfinished work.

Because he wasn’ in good health, he was inefficient and did not finish until after seven o’clock. He hurriedly checked again and escaped Fei Zheng’s house before eight o’clock.

On the subway, the phone rang.

He took it out and saw that it was Shen Chong calling.

Nan HuaiLin hung up directly, then threw Shen Chong’s number into the blacklist to keep Shi Yan’s company.

“Shit! He hung up on me!” Shen Chong called again, but couldn’t get through.

Fei Cheng, with his long legs on the desk, was bored and flipping through the artist profile in his hand. “Don’t put your hot face on someone’s cold ass, okay? I’m ashamed of you. He’s obviously not interested in you, so don’t think about it.”

“You shut up,” Shen Chong was furious. “If it wasn’t for you, I would have gotten him home.”

“What’s wrong with not getting him home?” Fei Cheng laughed unconcernedly. “If he doesn’t want to, can you still bully him?”

“Not willing? But he kissed me that day. He’s playing hard to get. He’s pure on the outside and a slutty bimbo inside.” Shen Chong was too lazy to argue with him about this, and directly turned the page, “It’s almost eight o’clock, will you leave or not? Your brother left work early, you are doing…what?”

Fei Cheng sighed, “My brother ordered me to live at home. I really don’t want to live with him. Just thinking about it makes me breathless.” He glared at Shen Chong. “It’s your fault. Why did you send me to my brother’s place last night? This morning he caught me red-handed.”

“Fuck, I’m really the one who is wronged. It’s obvious that you’re the one who asked me to send you home because you missed your Hannibal. Now you’re blaming me? That’s funny.”

Fei Cheng rubbed his nose.

He was so drunk last night that he couldn’t remember anything.

“Hey, the actor’s name is Nan HuaiLin, right?” Fei Cheng brought the topic back.

“Mn, what’s wrong?”

Fei Cheng threw a pile of information that he had already gone through twice on the table, “I don’t see his information, but he can’t be using the banner of Ming Xi to cheat, right?”

Shen Chong said, “I heard that he had a conflict with He DingHong and was going to terminate his contract with Ming Xi. That’s why He DingHong didn’t submit his information.”

Fei Cheng, for the first time, gossiped. “He’s a small actor with little fame. What kind of conflict can he have with his manager?”

“Do you still remember Gao Tan?” Shen Chong sat down on the desk in a casual manner. “We played ball together twice.”

Fei Cheng thought for a moment, “The one from GB Group?”

Shen Chong nodded. “The talk is that he wants Nan HuaiLin as a sugar baby, and to make He DingHong a pimp. They didn’t think that Nan HuaiLin would refuse. The pimp did not want to blacken his own face, so He DingHong got angry, ah. Nan HuaiLin is not stupid and knew that he had no future in Ming Xi. Rather than be a sugar baby, he thought it was better to terminate the contract to find his own way.”

Fei Cheng felt he was very new. “I just wonder. The entertainment industry is full of beautiful people, how come you guys are so eager to see him? What’s so great about him?”

Shen Chong hooked his lips with a smile, “I just heard this gossip and also feel it is quite incredible. I, at most, think he has a good body and ass, so I just want to sleep with him twice to let out the fire, but they even wanted to sell him off. This is a little too exaggerated. I also think this person is not open-minded, maybe he wants to have his own love.”

Fei Cheng hummed and said, “I think this manager named He is also quite bad.”

Shen Chong sneered, “Being a manager got to his head. All he is a pimp and uses the usual trick to let the artists under his hand eat and drink and sleep with the rich…the fucking thing.”

Fei Cheng said, “I suddenly have an idea.”

Shen Chong asked, “What idea?”

“I can’t tell you,” Fei Cheng stood up. “Let’s go eat.”

“After dinner, go with me to get a massage,” Shen Chong hugged him. “Recently I’m too damn tired, and feel my muscles are stiff.”

“Okay,” Fei Cheng said. “But find a clean place, ah.”

“Don’t worry, all the places I go to are better.”

The two of them took the elevator downstairs.

When they arrived at the first floor, the elevator door opened and they saw that person standing outside the door. Both of them were a bit stunned.

Nan HuaiLin didn’t expect to meet with Shen Chong on a narrow path, and was in a dilemma. He received a phone call from He DingHong when he was switching to line 1. The other party kindly said that he should come to the office and discuss something with him. He had to cancel his contract with Ming Xi, but after all, he was still a contracted artist under He DingHong, so he couldn’t not come.

But while he was waiting for the elevator, Nan HuaiLin felt too uncomfortable. His body was hot and cold, he was dizzy, his legs were weak, his undershirt was drenched with cold sweat, and his whole body was confused.

Fei Cheng and Shen Chong came out of the elevator.

Shen Chong asked, “Why didn’t you answer my call?”

Nan HuaiLin saw Shen Chong’s lips moving, but his ears buzzed and he couldn’t hear what he was saying.

In an instant, his legs went limp and he fell violently to the ground.

Fei Cheng had quick eyes and hands, and immediately reached out to catch him.

Nan HuaiLin looked at him dazedly, and then his consciousness sank into the infinite darkness.
