The scene after that unexpectedly changed. Shi Yu strolled around, stopped when he saw any fun items, then instructed the two alphas to go up and play while he videoed from behind.

Lu Zhao was happy to see Shi Yu and Jiang ChengLi’s ribbon had loosened.

Jiang ChengLi somehow rode the bumper car roller coaster with his love rival, but wasn’t happy. When they landed, Jiang ChengLi’s face looked much worse to the naked eye. Shi Yu wanted to speak, but he walked in front of him first.

When the three of them returned to the restaurant, everyone was surprised to see Lu Zhao was following them.

Shi Yu briefly talked about the chance encounter, and was surprised to receive a wary look from Lian Jing and He Huan.

“We stand firmly with the JiangShiCP. Lu Zhao is our common enemy.”

Shi Yu was silent for two seconds. He felt that any further explanation appeared feeble, so he just watched as Jiang ChengLi went to buy food.

Before he could get up, Lu Zhao called him again, “Shi Yu, can I have a moment of your time? I want to talk to you about something.”

Lian Jing and He Huan narrowed their eyes at the same time. Damn, what kind of tricks does a white lotus alpha want to play on us again?

Shi Yu thought about it, whispered ‘yes,’ and left the restaurant after Lu Zhao.

Jiang ChengLi came back to see he was leaving. His eyes dropped as put the drinks he’d bought on the table.

Li Chen hesitated for a moment. “President, aren’t you going to take a look?”

“There’s nothing to see.” Jiang ChengLi said calmly.

“Lu Zhao is not here to…to pry the corner.” When Lian Jing finished, He Huan nodded approvingly.

Jiang ChengLi laughed. “So, do you have no confidence in me? Or in Shi Yu?”

The three of them looked at each other and thought of one word in unison: crazy. It is true that those who are favored are emboldened.

Lu Zhao said what Shi Yu had guessed. He was confessing.

“I fell in love with you at first sight, from the first day I came to school. I didn’t know you were an omega at that time, so I may have offended you a bit.” Lu Zhao was standing across from him. Behind him was a staff member in a yellow bear doll costume who was selling balloons.

Shi Yu’s eyes were on the balloons. At the top flew a small dragon which he liked.

“I know you and Jiang ChengLi aren’t really together, I can tell. It’s true that I’m not as dominant as him, but I believe I like you more than him.”

Shi Yu looked back at him seriously. “Lu Zhao, I’m sorry.”

Lu Zhao’s eyes instantly darkened.

“I like dragons a lot, ever since I was a kid.” Shi Yu bought the little dragon floating in the air when the doll passed by. “I don’t care if Jiang ChengLi will like me more than you, but I like him. So, I’m sorry.”

When the two returned, Lian Jing and He Huan knew that the banner of their family’s CP was still standing. Lu Zhao was wandering off. Either he looked out the window or glanced down in contemplation, as if he was avoiding something.

He Huan took a group photo before going home. Lu Zhao wanted to leave, but Li Chen smilingly reached out and grabbed his shoulders. “Eh, we’ve been playing together all day, let’s take a group photo.”

He Huan and Lian Jing couldn’t do anything, but they were the first to fall on the well, as the two protectors stopped in front of Lu Zhao and insisted on taking a photo.

Shi Yu sighed, “Forget it. Lu Zhao, you go back first.”

Lu Zhao looked at him, a little aggrieved and a little reluctant. “Take a photo. As the last thought of this relationship.”

The words weren’t loud, but they were heard by Jiang ChengLi.

When the photo was taken, Jiang ChengLi and Shi Yu stood in the second row, Lian Jing and He Huan in front, while the staff helping to take pictures shouted ‘three, two, one.’ Jiang ChengLi wrapped his arms around Shi Yu without Lian Jing and He Huan noticing.

Then lowered his head and placed a kiss at the end of his omega’s eye.

‘Click.’ The photo was taken.

Shi Yu didn’t expect Jiang ChengLi to swear sovereignty in such a direct way. He glanced at Lian Jing and He Huan, somewhat helpless.

How should he explain to these two people that he and Jiang ChengLi weren’t really together?

“Did he make a lot of noise to you?” Jiang ChengLi lowered his head on Shi Yu’s shoulder. His breath drifted lightly as he spoke, and it gently tickled his ear.

Shi Yu pursed his lips and switched his phone off. He turned back. “Jiang ChengLi, isn’t it time to go home? You can’t stay overnight for two days, right?”

Jiang ChengLi gently reached out and captured Shi Yu’s finger. His voice was quiet, “Don’t you want to hold the little ice dragon?”

Only then did Shi Yu take out the balloon, which was already a bit deflated. The little dragon was a bit crumpled.

“My hand feels much better than his, huh?” Jiang ChengLi persisted in his seduction. “And you can touch the tail.”

Shi Yu took a deep breath. “Then you turn back into your dragon form and I’ll take you back.”

Shi Yu thought Jiang ChengLi was trying to appease him when he encouraged him to take him back, but he hadn’t expected to arrive at the doorstep and find that the little ice dragon tucked in his coat pocket had disappeared.

Five minutes earlier, Jiang ChengLi left a message on his cell phone: [Something came up. I’m not going home with you. Be safe on the road].

[If someone offers to treat you to candy and asks you to go with him, don’t listen to him].

Shi Yu hung his eyes and thought, He wasn’t a child, how could he be tricked by candy?

When he arrived home, Shi Lan and Tang Yi were clearing the table. Dinner had already been eaten.

“Did you have dinner with your friends? If you’re hungry, I’ll cook you a bowl of noodles.” Shi Lan asked in a coaxing voice.

“No. I’m going to take a shower and get ready to go to bed.” Shi Yu yawned, sleepy since he was close to his heat.

Shi Lan urged him to get some rest, and he went upstairs alone.

The two geges were playing chess with Alice in the toy room. Shi Yu heard the laughter inside when he passed by, and returned to his room unexpectedly despondent. Suddenly, he regretted that he hadn’t stayed with Jiang ChengLi for a little longer.

After taking a hot bath, he gave himself a blocker; the cedar scent that Jiang ChengLi had given him at the beginning. At first he didn’t like it, but now he realized that the smell of the blocker was similar to Jiang ChengLi’s pheromones.

Shi Yu lay on his bed and flipped through a book, but before he could read two pages, there was a sudden knock at the door.

“Baby, you have a friend coming.” Shi Lan smiled gently. “Come down.”

Shi Yu froze. He hadn’t told anyone about the move, so who was here?

He lifted the blanket and got out of bed. The first thing he smelled was a slightly cold and frosty scent. His heart beat faster.

It was Jiang ChengLi.

Downstairs, the slender alpha stood in the middle of the living room and was conversing with Tang Yi in a rather warm and soft posture. When he saw Shi Yu, his eyes arched. “Shi Yu.”

Shi Yu lowered his head, went downstairs and walked to Jiang ChengLi under the sight of Tang Yi and Shi Lan.

Jiang ChengLi saw his sullen expression and was slightly apologetic. He wanted to apologize to him, that he did not mean to separate from him, then heard the hidden surprise in Shi Yu’s voice. “Why are you here?

The sound seemed to hope that he came for him.

Jiang ChengLi smiled. “I wanted to meet my father and mother-in-law, so I took some time to prepare a gift.”

“Sit down, don’t stand.” Shi Lan smiled and poured a pot of tea for Jiang ChengLi. “Has ChengLi eaten yet? Would you like something to eat?”

Jiang ChengLi politely thanked her and said he had already eaten before coming. Shi Yu had always found talking to elders to be a very taxing task, but Jiang ChengLi was quite comfortable with it, and Tang Yi and Shi Lan never stopped smiling.

“How are Mr. and Mrs. Jiang doing these days?”

“All good, they will be back before New Year’s Eve.”

“Then let Shi Yu visit and also bring some gifts, then.”

Shi Yu froze. Before he could answer he heard Jiang ChengLi say, “Okay.”

“It’s getting late tonight, so if ChengLi doesn’t mind, how about staying overnight?” Tang Yi stood up. “I’ll go help you clean up your room.”

Shi Yu watched as the man next to him moved to follow. He stayed in place for a moment before he reacted.

Was everything just arranged?

Shi Lan found a set of clothes and handed it to Shi Yu. “This set was bought for you before, but it’s a little too big. Go and give it to ChengLi.”

Shi Yu hugged the clothes, and blushed only a bit as he walked upstairs.

The guest room was clean. Shi Yu had just gone upstairs when he bumped into Jiang ChengLi. The alpha squinted at his arms. “Delivered my clothes?”

Shi Yu hmmmed. “See if it fits.”

Jiang ChengLi raised his eyebrows. “The original?”

“…” Shi Yu froze.

Looking at omega’s dull and bewildered expression, Jiang ChengLi concentrated on the second half of the jerky words. “Leave the door open for the little ice dragon at night, okay?”

Before Shi Yu could answer, the door of the toy room on the second floor opened. Alice walked out with her bear in her arms and ran into Jiang ChengLi, who was standing at the stairway.

The little girl froze for two seconds. The bear in her arms suddenly sagged, and she walked dumbly to Jiang ChengLi’s front.

“Gege?” she cried in awkward Chinese and unconsciously reached out to grab the corner of Jiang ChengLi’s coat, only to be jerk back as if she didn’t dare to touch it easily.

Jiang ChengLi half crouched down and gently shook the hand of the bear she held. “Hello. First time meeting.”

Alice swallowed her saliva. “You can…marry me?”

Shi Yu hadn’t expected Alice to be so blunt, and helplessly looked at the little girl. He wanted to say something.

Jiang ChengLi let go of the bear’s hand. The smile on his lips slowly disappeared, his expression was serious. “Sorry, no. I have someone I have to marry.”

His eyes rose as he said this, and he gazed at Shi Yu’s face.

Shi Yu lips pursed slightly. Before Alice could ask a follow-up question he took a step forward. “Alice. Gege is calling you.”

Alice turned around and heard that Tang Chuan was shouting her name. She reluctantly glanced at Jiang ChengLi.

After the people departed, Shi Yu said, “You go wash up.”

He wanted to turn back, but was gently wrapped around the waist by Jiang ChengLi. “So, you call them gege at home?” Shi Yu was about to retort, when he heard another thin complaint, “You never even called me gege.”

The door to the toy room was pushed open once more, and he wondered if Alice was coming out again.

Shi Yu instinctively raised his hand and pushed Jiang ChengLi into the guest bedroom and gently closed the door.

Jiang ChengLi had words that were brewing on the edge of his lips and lowered his head on his omega’s shoulder.

“…Gege.”

Why does Shi Yu keep saying that he and ChengLi are not together? The latter has made it clear (I thought) that it’s not just about his pheromones and Shi Yu has admitted he likes JCL.
This toing and froing is getting confusing.
Thanks for translating and editing.
